Dear Supporters,

I want to thank the people of St. Mary’s County for making my campaign for County Commissioner a wonderful experience. I enjoyed traveling across the county and meeting with so many diverse groups of people. We are truly blessed with great citizens. We have enough talented minds here to solve any problem we face. Whether Democrat, Republican, Independent, Green, or Populist we all have the same priorities: the best education for our children, good jobs with fair wages to support our families, affordable homes, and a safe and secure community. Our citizens accept the greatest challenges for the future of our county. We understand that we are obligated to preserve and protect our environment and rural character. We understand that we must develop managed growth policies that are not subject to loop holes and that are sustainable over time. We understand the importance of supporting the mission of the U.S military community who maintain our economic stability and enhance our overall development. We must take good care of our seniors upon whose shoulders we now stand.

I send my best wishes to the newly elected Board of Commissioners and to all other elected officials. Please remember that you represent all of the citizens of St. Mary’s County, those with voice and power and those who are voiceless. I thank my wonderful team of supporters who volunteered countless hours of time, energy, and creativity to the campaign. They provided thoughtful deliberations to the political process. We ran a positive and respectful campaign and we are all richer for the experience. Thank you citizens of St. Mary’s for supporting my effort to represent you at the commissioner’s table. We did help to raise the level of awareness about the challenges facing our community. God bless St. Mary’s County and God bless America.
